This Saturday was pretty eventful at The Realty Investment Club of Houston's (RICH Club) Quickstart Program. For an investor, new or seasoned, looking for great education this is the place to be. Sean Arnold has done a great job of putting a dream team of instructors together.
Like any class, the instructors can make or break the seminar. At the RICH Quickstart you have Sean Arnold, Mark Pantak, Dennis Arocho, and myself. These guys are GREAT at giving real life experiences and advice. This dream team would make Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad) and Donald Trump (The Donald) jealous.
You and I both know that many of these type seminars are from guys trying to make money off the seminar itself or guys trying to get mentor business because they can't make at real estate investing. "Those who can't.. teach." We both know that this isn't always true. What is true is that all of the Quickstart instructors are doing for gratis...nothing... goose egg... free. All the proceeds to go the RICH Club to provide for additional education to investors. It's not a perfect system but there's nothing closer. I am always inspired by the amount of people that we can help educate. From negotiating, to finding the deal, to submitting the contract, to exit strategies, to wholesaling, to flipping, to land lording, to buy and hold, to wrap-around mortgages, to subject-to financing, to short sales, to seller financing, to private IRA money, this seminar, for one day, covered a lot of material. It was nice to see a 20 year real estate broker who focuses on investors be impressed by the knowledge of the instructors. If you haven't attended the RICH Quickstart then check out the one coming in March at http://www.richclub.org.
