On April 26th Zeus Mortgage presented at Gordon Appleby's "The Wealth Club" as part of his "Project Prove It". This was one of the best groups I've ever had the privilege of speaking to. They really knew their stuff and were open to new and advanced ideas.
Here's an email from one of the attendees:
Steven,
Your presentation was awesome. Your style was lively and the content was superb.
Although I have owned a few homes in the past, I am just beginning my real estate investment adventure. Knowing my neophyte status, where would you recommend that I start to gain the knowledge to be successful. Any recommendations which you provide will be graciously accepted.
Warmest Regards,
Joe

Dear Joe,
Thank you for your kind words. I’m truly thankful and can’t tell you how grateful I’m for your compliment. Honestly!
You named it correctly when you called it an “adventure”. I often liken it to a roller coaster ride. There are two ways to ride… 1 – with your eyes closed and your hands clasped tightly on the bar or 2 – with your arms whaling in the air while you enjoy the ride. Either way, there is only one rule to the ride.. ”you have to stay on”.
You have already begun gaining the knowledge you need by surrounding yourself with folks at the Wealth Club. Gordon is an extraordinary person and his investing/business principles are very sound. He has a lot to teach. Remember, the only thing that will make you successful will be the insights you gather from your experience. You can’t buy experience. You have to experience it. Experience itself isn’t enough either. If experience were all it takes then every baby boomer would be wealthy. You need insight from your experiences if you really want to make a difference in your life. Experience provides you the hindsight which is 20/20 for everyone. It’s the insight in the experience that most people have difficulty really “seeing”. In the end, it all starts with action. You have to take action to gain experience which will ultimately lead you to the insight that will provide you the success that you are looking for. If there’s anything I’ve learned its this… successful people keep moving. They are always taking action.
Joe, I hope this email finds you well and please feel free to us when you have questions or scenarios. Please don’t keep us a secret.
Warm regards,
Steven
